IRS is Hiring 168 Contact Representative in Memphis, for tax filing season

Memphis, TN – The IRS tax return processing center at 5333 Getwell Road, TN, is looking to fill full time seasonal positions for the income tax filing season.

“We are seeking 168 temporary seasonal IRS Contact Representatives to work primarily with taxpayers and their representatives through telephone contact.” said IRS Spokesman Mark Green. The Positions are located in Wage and Investment, Accounts Management Operation, 5333 Getwell Road, Memphis, TN 38118.

The seasonal positions are full time and usually run six months, but may be extended with the opportunity to return year after year. “The salary Range from $31,944.00 to $41,530.00, with an anticipated start date of 11/30/2015,” said Green.

The IRS is an equal opportunity employer and applicants must be a US citizen. All employees must pass an FBI fingerprint check and tax compliance verification as well as meet basic qualification requirements for education and/or experience. Applicants must have one year specialized customer service experience or a 4-year degree – or a combination of work experience and education. The work hours are generally from 6:00am till 11:30pm, Monday through Friday. Benefits may be offered
