“Cub Scout Day gives scouts an opportunity to use telescopes, learn about our solar system, and gain hands on experience. The West Kentucky Amateur Astronomers club will be there to lead several of the day’s activities and offer advice to aspiring young astronomers and curious Cub Scouts,” says Naturalist Julie Watson.

Activities will be ongoing from 10:00am to 3:00pm and participants can arrive anytime. Nature Station staff recommend allowing 2 to 3 hours to participate in all activities. Those who pack their lunch for the day can use nearby picnic areas. Groups of any size are welcome.
