Tennessee’s Unemployment Rate for July 5.7%

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Labor & Workforce Development Commissioner Burns Phillips announced today the Tennessee preliminary unemployment rate for July was 5.7 percent, unchanged from the June revised rate.
The United States preliminary rate for July was 5.3 percent, also unchanged from the prior month.
Henry County Unemployment rate increases to 8.2 percent

Nashville, TN – Tennessee County unemployment rates for November 2014, released today, show the rate decreased in 18 counties, increased in 63 counties, and remained the same in 14 counties. Henry County’s rate increased from 7.9 percent in October to 8.2 percent.
Unemployment Rate for Tennessee decreased in November to 6.8%

The U.S. preliminary rate for November was 5.8 percent, unchanged from the prior month.
Tennessee’s Unemployment Rate for October Decreased to 7.1%

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Labor and Workforce Development Commissioner Burns Phillips announced the Tennessee preliminary unemployment rate for October was 7.1 percent, two tenths of one percentage point lower than the September revised rate of 7.3 percent.
The U.S. preliminary rate for October was 5.8 percent, down from 5.9 percent in September.
Henry County Unemployment increases in October 2014

Nashville, TN – Tennessee County unemployment rates for October 2014 show the rate decreased in 80 counties, increased in 10 counties, and remained the same in five counties.
Henry County’s unemployment rate decreased 0.4 percent to 7.9, down from 8.3 in September.
Paris-Henry County Unemployment increases 1.0 percent in July

Nashville, TN – County unemployment rates for July 2014, released today, show the rate increased in 86 counties, decreased in five, and remained the same in four counties. Paris-Henry County’s unemployment rate rose 1.0 percent from 8.9 percent in June to 9.9 percent in July.
Tennessee’s Unemployment Rate for July Increased To 7.1%

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Labor and Workforce Development Commissioner Burns Phillips announced today the Tennessee preliminary unemployment rate for July was 7.1 percent, five tenths of one percentage point higher than the 6.6 June revised rate.
The U.S. preliminary rate for July was 6.2 percent, up from 6.1 percent in June.

The unemployment rate for Paris/Henry County was 10.8 percent in September and rose to 11.0 percent in October.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Labor and Workforce Development Commissioner Burns Phillips announced the Tennessee’s unemployment rate for May was 8.3 percent, which increased three tenths of one percentage point from the April revised rate of 8.0 percent.
The national unemployment rate for May 2013 was 7.6 percent, increasing by one tenth of one percentage point from the previous month.

Tennessee’s unemployment rate for July increased to 8.4 percent, up from the June revised rate of 8.1 percent. The national unemployment rate for July 2012 was 8.3 percent, 0.1 percentage point higher than the June rate.
