AAA says Tennessee Gas Prices Up One Cent

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Gas prices are holding steady right now, but face upward pressure, due to recent strength in the oil market and rising wholesale gasoline prices. The average price for gasoline in Tennessee is $2.01 per gallon, but should rise another 3-5 cents this week.
Tennessee motorists are paying 1-cent more than a week ago. However, the average price is still 7 cents less than last month, and 35 cents less than this time last year. Despite the anticipated uptick, the state average remains 72 cents per gallon less than last year’s high, and 68 cents per gallon less than what Tennessee motorists paid in October.

AAA reports Tennessee Gas Prices Sink to 25-Month Lows

Nashville, TN – Prices at the pump are off to their lowest start to the month of January since 2016. Gas prices in Tennessee dropped another 3.5 cents last week. The state average has now declined a total of 71 cents since October.
Tennessee motorists are now paying an average price of $1.98 per gallon – the lowest daily average since December 2016. Compared to last Memorial Day, when the state average peaked at around $2.73 per gallon, Tennessee motorists are now saving more than $11.00 on a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline.

As vacationers hit the road, they will find a quarter (25 percent) of all gas stations across the country are selling gas for more than $3.00/gallon. (AAA)

Nashville, TN – The plunge at the pump continues this week, and now gas prices are poised to have their lowest start to the New Year since January 1st, 2016.
Americans are finding gas prices below $2.00 a gallon at 31% of filling stations in the United States. Since mid-October, the national average has plummeted a total of 61 cents. Thursday’s average price of $2.29 per gallon is the lowest since July 2017.

Tampa, FL – Nearly 20 percent of states are currently enjoying prices below $2.00 per gallon. Nationally, retail averages have dropped 83 of the past 90 days. The national average for regular unleaded gasoline currently sits at $2.30 per gallon, which is six cents less than one week ago, 24 cents less than one month ago and 16 cents less than at the same time last year.
Heading into 2019, gasoline demand is expected to dwindle during the month of January, an expected change following the busy holiday travel season.

Nashville, TN – Christmas came early for millions of Americans hitting the road for the holidays. Tennessee gas prices, which are already at 2-year lows for this time of year, should drop even lower in the coming days; after the price of oil and wholesale gasoline tumbled on Thursday.
Tennessee Gas Prices are 14 cents less than the average price on Christmas Day 2017.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Gas Prices dropped another 5 cents last week, and could move even lower this week, because of additional declines in the price of oil.
Sunday’s state average price of $2.12 per gallon is nearly 30 cents less than a month ago, and about 10 cents less than this time last year. It’s possible, the state average could reach $2.00 per gallon before the end of the year, unless oil prices rise.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Gas prices continue falling like autumn leaves according to AAA. The state average has declined the past 59 consecutive days for a total of 52 cents.
Sunday’s state average of $2.17 per gallon is 7 cents less than last week, 34 cents less than last month, and 9 cents less than this time last year.
Tennessee Gas Prices are now Lowest of 2018

Nashville, TN – Tennessee gas prices now average the lowest of 2018. Sunday’s state average of $2.24 is 10 cents less than a week ago, and the lowest daily average price since December.
Tennessee gas prices have declined the past seven weeks. The state average has slipped 52 consecutive days, for a total of 45 cents.
On average, gas prices in November were 21 cents less than October.
