Clarksville-Montgomery County has second lowest Gas Prices in Tennessee

AAATampa, FL Gas prices declined over the weekend and that trend should continue this week. 

Gas prices in Tennessee slipped 1-cent lower during the weekend. Due to a slight increase last week, the Tennessee state average of $2.68 per gallon is only a half cent less than a week ago. However, Tennessee motorists are still paying 9 cents per gallon more than last month and 36 cents more than this time last year.

Clarksville-Montgomery County has the Second Cheapest Gas Prices in Tennessee

AAANashville, TN Gas prices in Tennessee climbed 5 cents last week. Sunday’s state average of $2.63 per gallon is 3 cents more than a month ago and 15 cents more than this time last year.

Tennessee gas prices have hovered within 5 cents of their current range since early June. However, prices remain 10 cents less than this year’s high – established during Memorial Day weekend.

AAA reports Tennessee Gas Prices Inching Lower

AAANashville, TN – AAA says gas prices edged lower last week. Sunday’s national average price of $2.85 per gallon was one-tenth of a cent less than the week before. However, the average American is still paying 27 cents per gallon more than this time last year.  

Gas prices in Tennessee slipped a half-cent lower during the past week. Sunday’s state average of $2.58 is 1-cent less than a month ago. However, Tennessee motorists are still paying 6 cents per gallon more than this time last year.

AAA reports Tennessee Gas Prices Slip as Hurricane Florence approaches the United States

AAANashville, TNGas prices inched lower over the weekend, as several major storms churn in the Atlantic. Hurricane Florence is forecast to strike the U.S. east coast, yet gas prices have yet to be impacted.

“When a major storm approaches the U.S., gasoline markets can be just as unpredictable as the storm itself,” said Mark Jenkins, spokesman, AAA – The Auto Club Group.

AAATampa, FL Prices at the pump increased last week as anticipated, yet are pointing lower again as we move into Monday. 

Gas prices in Tennessee increased 4 cents during the past week. Sunday’s state average of $2.65 is 4 cents more than a month ago and 51 cents more than last year. 

Gas prices in July averaged $2.61 per gallon. That was the highest monthly average for July since 2014.

AAATampa, FL Gas prices rose 2 cents nationwide last week, as prices in the southeast face upward pressure. Wholesale gasoline prices rose 8 cents in Florida and Georgia, and 7 cents in Tennessee.

Gas prices in Tennessee held steady last week, but face upward pressure heading into Monday. Wholesale prices rose 6 cents in the past few days, raising the price for retailers to fill their tanks.

AAATampa, FL Gas prices are trending lower after an small jump at the pump last week. Gas prices in Tennessee are 2 cents higher than a week ago. The state average of $2.63 is 10 cents less than this year’s high, yet remains 61 cents more than this time last year. 

Pump prices rose last week after reports surfaced of seven gulf coast refineries dealing with various operational issues.

AAA reports Tennessee Gas Prices Increased 1.5 Cents From Last Week

Clarksville-Montgomery County has the Least Expensive Gas Prices in Tennessee

AAATampa, FL Tennessee Gas Prices  increased 1.5 cents during the past week. So far, motorists have found the most expensive summer gas prices in four years. Since June 1st, Tennessee gas prices averaged $2.64 per gallon – an increase of nearly 60 cents compared to the average price last summer.

However, current pump prices remain 12 cents below this year’s high, set during Memorial Day weekend.

AAATampa, FL – Gas prices are are facing upward pressure as Independence Day quickly approaches. AAA forecasts nearly 47 million Americans will travel for the holiday. The 39.7 million – who will drive – will find gas prices 50-60 cents more than last year. 

Gas prices in Tennessee remain a half cent below what motorists paid this time last year. Sunday’s average of $2.60 is 60 cents more than this time last year.

Tennessee Gas Prices Fall for 28th Straight Day

AAANashville, TN Gas prices in Tennessee declined for the 28th consecutive day on Sunday. However, higher oil prices may soon put the brakes on that downward streak at the pumps. 

The state average of $2.60 is 5 cents less than a week ago and 12 cents less than last month. However, Tennessee motorists are still paying nearly 60 cents more per gallon compared to last year.
