Nashville, TN – Gas prices plateaued over the weekend, after an unseasonable jump at the pump last week. Tennessee gas prices rose an average of 8 cents in 10 days. Some of the highest weekly hikes were in Knoxville (9 cents), Morristown (7 cents), Chattanooga (7 cents) and Cleveland (7 cents).
The state average’s steady climb came to a crawl over the weekend. Tennessee gas prices averaged $2.34 on Sunday, just fractions of a penny less than the day before. The state average is 6 cents more than a week ago and 31 cents more than last year.

Nashville, TN – The steady stream of declining gas prices continued last week. However, the rate at which prices are declining is beginning to slow, and pump prices should soon level out.
Tennessee gas prices declined for the 49th consecutive day on Sunday, for a total discount of 34 cents. The state average only declined 2 cents last week. That is a stark contrast to previous weeks, where the total decline was 7-10 cents.

Tampa, FL – Tennessee gas prices averaged $2.31 per gallon on Sunday, after dropping 8 cents during the past week. The biggest weekly discounts were seen in Cleveland (-12 cents), Johnson City (-12 cents), and Chattanooga (-10 cents)
The state average has declined for 35 consecutive days, falling a total of 28 cents during that time. Although Tennessee gas prices are 27 cents less than a month ago, the state average remains 19 cents higher than this time last year.
