Nashville, TN – The Tennessee gas price average dropped nearly two cents over last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.92 which is nearly four cents less than one month ago and 56 cents less than one year ago.
“Pump prices are mostly pushing cheaper across the state as gasoline demand wanes over the past few weeks,” said Megan Cooper, spokesperson, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Gas prices are likely to fluctuate throughout the rest of the summer due to COVID-19 concerns, but healthy supply levels should help keep gas prices cheaper than last summer.”

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee gas price average has dropped a penny since last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.93 which is nearly five cents more than one month ago and 60 cents less than one year ago.
“During the last month, demand has averaged about 8.6 million b/d while, gasoline stocks have steadily declined,” said Megan Cooper,spokesperson, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Week by week, we are seeing mostly regional fluctuation at the pump based on gasoline supply and demand.”

Nashville, TN – For the first time in eight weeks, The Tennessee gas price average declined – nearly two cents cheaper compared to last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.94 which is 16 cents more than one month ago and nearly 51 cents less than one year ago.
“Tennessee drivers saw the cheapest Independence Day gas prices in 16 years over the weekend, ” said Megan Cooper, spokesperson, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “The state average on July 4th was $1.94 – 52 cents less than one year ago and the cheapest since 2004.”

Nashville, TN – AAA reports that the Tennessee gas price average jumped 6 cents this week following a steady week of slow increases.
The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.95 which is 24 cents more than one month ago and nearly 47 cents less than one year ago.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee gas price average continues to increase and has risen nearly 8 cents since this time last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.87 which is a quarter higher than one month ago and 50 cents less than one year ago.
“As Americans drive more, they are re-fueling gasoline demand levels, which is helping to lift pump prices, said Megan Cooper, spokesperson, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Higher demand will contribute to increasing gas prices in the coming weeks, but they aren’t going to spike to typical summer prices. That’s because demand won’t be sufficient enough to drive down stocks levels. Gasoline stocks sit at a significant surplus of nearly 24 million bbl year-over-year.”

To keep things in perspective, Tennesseans are still experiencing gas prices that are 92 cents cheaper compared to this time last year.
