LBL Cub Scout Day at Woodlands Nature Station
Golden Pond, KY – Bring your cub scouts to Woodlands Nature Station’s annual Cub Scout Day on Saturday, November 16th, from 10:00am-3:00pm, for a day full of activities and programs focused on the Cub Scout Hiking Belt Loop and Pin Awards.
The program is free with Nature Station admission, $5.00 adults, $3.00 children 5-12, free 4 and under.
Fall Colors at Land Between the Lakes.
A variety of staff-led programs, activities, and displays will be going on between 10:00am and 3:00pm.
Scouts will learn about hiking safety, how to pack for a hike, how to follow trail signs, and more. Arrive anytime, but we recommend planning a 2- to 3-hour visit.
Pack a lunch and take advantage of the nearby picnic pavilion. Bring a few scouts or the whole gang! No reservations needed. Visit www.lbl.org and click on Calendar of Events for more details.
Come Outside and Play at Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area. Managed by the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Land Between The Lakes provides outdoor recreation, lake access, and environmental education for the public to enjoy.
