“The lion’s share of the funding – $310 billion – will go directly to the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), a massively popular program that has already disbursed $350 billion to businesses all over the country,” Puzder says.

PayPal Approved to Provide Access to Paycheck Protection Program Loans

PayPalSan Jose, CAPayPal Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: PYPL) today announced that the company is now providing access to small business loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program.

SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program for Small Businesses Affected by Coronavirus Pandemic Launches

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)Washington, D.C.The U.S. Small Business Administration Administrator Jovita Carranza today launched the Paycheck Protection Program, a $349 billion emergency loan program created last week with the President’s signing of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES).

The program provides forgivable loans up to $10 million to small businesses left financially distressed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

SBA Offers Disaster Assistance to Tennessee Residents Affected by Severe Storms and Flooding

SBA - Small Business AdministrationWashington, D.C. – Tennessee residents and businesses affected by severe storms and flooding on April 26th-28th, can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration, SBA Administrator Karen G. Mills announced.

Administrator Mills made the loans available in response to a letter from Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam on May 8th, requesting a disaster declaration by the SBA. In a nationwide effort to raise the business community’s awareness about how to prepare their businesses and employees in the event of an emergency, the Advertising Council, in partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the American Red Cross, announced today the launch of new public service advertisements (PSAs) on behalf of Ready Business.
