Nashville, TN – Tennessee gas prices held steady over last week with today’s state average coming in at the same price as one week ago. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $2.88 which is only a penny more expensive than one month ago and $1.00 more than one year ago.
“Motorists are paying, on average, 37% more to fill up than the start of the year,” said Megan Cooper, spokeswoman, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Prices for the rest of the month are likely to push more expensive, but if crude production increases, as forecasted, there is the possibility of seeing some relief at the pump later this summer.”

Nashville, TN – AAA says gas prices across Tennessee increased by a penny, on average, over last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $2.88 which is 17 cents more than one month ago and nearly $1.10 more than one year ago.
“We expect this week’s demand number to increase as it will reflect Memorial Day holiday weekend travel, but it’s not likely to lead to an increase in gas prices for the majority of motorists,” said Megan Cooper, spokeswoman, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “However, crude oil is on the rise and could prop up pump prices.”

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee gas price average held steady over the last week with the state average remaining unchanged from the previous week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $2.69 which is the same as one month ago and $1.15 more than one year ago.
“While April saw minimal fluctuation, May is likely to see much larger increases alongside demand spikes, especially closer to Memorial Day weekend,” said Megan Cooper, spokeswoman, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Compared to May 2019, U.S. gasoline demand is down only 4% and gas prices are, on average, just two cents more.”

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee gas price average continues to trend upward, climbing six cents over last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.98 which is 12 cents more than one month ago and 34 cents less than one year ago.
“The recent gas price pump increases are a bit surprising given December demand numbers are the lowest posted for the month since 1999,” said Megan Cooper, spokeswoman, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Rising crude oil prices and tightening supply are the main factors contributing to the uptick in pump prices.”

Nashville, TN – AAA reports Tennessee gas price average remains relatively steady, up nearly two cents from last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.92 which is four cents more than one month ago and 38 cents less than one year ago.
“Gasoline demand is down 14% year-over-year. The numbers we are seeing as of late are very similar to readings from May when many states were locked down and demand was very low,” said Megan Cooper, spokeswoman, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “The fact is, Americans are filling-up less as states re-introduce travel restrictions and the pandemic lingers.”

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee gas price average remains steady, increasing only a penny over last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.90 which is four cents more than one month ago and 43 cents less than one year ago.
“Gas prices were predicted to decrease following the holiday, but robust gains in crude oil prices and the OPEC decision to increase production next year led to a number of states seeing pump price jumps of 3 to 12 cents,” said Megan Cooper, spokesperson, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “In Tennessee, the change in pump prices was minimal at only a penny increase and prices remain relatively cheap at 43 cents lower than this time last year.”
