GPS Hospitality Seeks to Hire 45 Drivers at 17 Area Pizza Hut Locations

Atlanta, GA – GPS Hospitality, an Atlanta-based franchisee, seeks 45 Pizza Hut drivers in the Nashville/Clarksville area for immediate hire. Interviews will be conducted via video chat.
Pizza Hut is also expediting its hiring and onboarding process to get delivery drivers on the road more rapidly, and ultimately to get customers their pizza quicker.
Robertson County, Henry County Residents Ordered to Repay TennCare

Nashville, TN – Residents of Robertson County and Henry County have been ordered to repay the state in plea agreements resulting from TennCare fraud charges brought by the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
In Robertson County, Michelle Owen, 48, of Springfield, was ordered to repay a total of $10,000. Of that, $7,500 will be paid to TennCare and the remaining $2,500 will be paid to United Healthcare, the healthcare insurance plan providing TennCare benefits.
Austin Peay State University 21st Annual Governors Bass Tournament set for Saturday

Clarksville, TN – The 21st annual Austin Peay State University Governors Bass Tournament will be held 6:00am, Saturday, at Kentucky Lake, with registration and boat launching from Paris Landing, Tenn., State Park.
Twelve thousand dollars in prize money will be awarded with a guaranteed first-place prize of $5,000. Second-place is guaranteed $1,500. Third and fourth-place will receive $1,000 and $600, respectively. The top 25 places will receive prizes.

This year’s edition will be held Saturday, May 16th, at Kentucky Lake, with registration and boat launching from Paris Landing, Tennessee, State Park. Last season’s tourney drew 227 boats.

Tennessee Department of Health joins Community Partners to offer Free Testing for National HIV Testing Day

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health joins a coalition of health providers and other partners across the country taking part in National HIV Testing Day Friday, June 27th.
As part of this effort to raise awareness and promote prevention of HIV, TDH is teaming up with Walgreens and Greater Than AIDS to provide free HIV testing at sites across Tennessee June 26th-28th. TDH encourages all sexually active Tennesseans, regardless of age, to get tested for HIV. [Read more]

TWRA announces 2013-14 Winter Trout Stocking Schedule

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has announced its 2013-14. TWRA plans to release approximately 90,000 rainbow trout into Tennessee waters from December through March.
