AAA partners with Tennessee Highway Safety Office to Offer Traffic Safety Scholarship

Nashville, TN – The Auto Club Group (AAA) joins the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) for the second year to offer the Reduce TN Crashes Scholarship Award.
The THSO and AAA – The Auto Club Group will reward one exemplary high school senior in Tennessee with a $3,000 scholarship for working with the THSO’s Reduce TN Crashes program to improve teen driver safety within their local community.
Tennessee Promise Applications Down 20 Percent

Nashville, TN – As of October 13th, 2020 TN Promise applications are down 20 percent across Tennessee. At this rate, more than 10,000 Tennessee high school seniors will not take advantage of this opportunity compared to seniors from the Class of 2020.
ACEC Scholarships Available to Tennessee Engineering Students

Nashville, TN – The American Council of Engineering Companies of Tennessee (ACEC Tennessee) is accepting scholarship applications from Tennessee engineering and land surveying students, and Tennessee Engineering Foundation (TEF) will award four additional scholarships to advance the industry. Applications for all scholarships must be submitted by January 12th, 2018.

15,830 Students Utilizing Tennessee Promise Benefits This Fall
Nashville, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam today encouraged high school seniors to apply for the Tennessee Promise, Tennessee’s groundbreaking scholarship and mentorship program that provides high school graduates last-dollar scholarships to attend two years of community or technical college free of tuition and fees. The deadline for applications is November 2nd.
According to the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation (TSAC), 15,830 students from the graduating high school class of 2015 are utilizing Tennessee Promise benefits this fall, which is the first year of implementation.

Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit set for June 9th-14th
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has announced there is space available for those wishing to attend the Fourth Annual Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit (TOYS), June 9th-14th, 2013. The summit is for high school students from across Tennessee.
The application deadline has been extended to May 10th, 2013.

Nashville, TN – The American Council of Engineering Companies of Tennessee (ACEC of Tennessee) is currently accepting applications from engineering and land surveying students in Tennessee for the 2012 national ACEC engineering scholarship program, which will award several scholarships totaling $20,000, and for the 2012 national Council of Structural Engineers scholarship program, which will award a $5,000 scholarship to a structural engineering student pursuing a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
