Birds, Bugs, Snakes, and more at Cool Critters Day

Land Between the Lakes, KY/TN – Get an up-close look at live tropical birds, check out reptiles from around the world, touch a tarantula, and visit with domestic petting zoo animals during Cool Critters Day at Woodlands Nature Station. The event lasts from 10:00am-4:00pm, Saturday, July 16th, 2016.
“If your children like animals, they’ll love Cool Critters Day,” says Nature Station naturalist, Aviva Yasgur. “This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about a variety of interesting, exotic critters and see them up-close.”

Golden Pond, KY – Hey parents! Bring your kids to Land Between the Lakes Cool & Crawly Critters Day where they can get an up-close look at bugs, snakes, turtles, fish, and more!
Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area offers the event at Woodlands Nature Station on Saturday, July 13th, 2013, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Event admission fee is $5.00 ages 13 and up, $4.00 ages 5-12, age 4 and under are FREE. All programs are included with admission fee. Lunch will be available for purchase.

Golden Pond, KY – Celebrate the wonders of the Elk and Bison Prairie on Saturday, September 15th, from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Golden Pond Visitor Center in Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area.
