Silver Spring, MD – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration continues to take action in the ongoing response effort to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic:
Friday, the FDA issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the investigational antiviral drug remdesivir.

I’m pleased to announce that Gilead now has an EUA from the FDA for remdesivir. And you know what that is because that’s been the hot thing also in the papers and in the media for the last little while.

Silver Spring, MD – Today, Friday, May 1st, 2020, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued an emergency use authorization for the investigational antiviral drug remdesivir for the treatment of suspected or laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 Coronavirus in adults and children hospitalized with severe disease.
