U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)Atlanta, GA – Monday, November 29th, 2021, the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) strengthened its recommendation on booster doses for individuals who are 18 years and older.

Everyone ages 18 and older should get a booster shot either when they are 6 months after their initial Pfizer or Moderna series or 2 months after their initial J&J vaccine.

U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)Silver Spring, MD – Today, Friday, October 29th, 2021,  the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized the emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19 Coronavirus to include children 5 through 11 years of age.

The authorization was based on the FDA’s thorough and transparent evaluation of the data that included input from independent advisory committee experts who overwhelmingly voted in favor of making the vaccine available to children in this age group.

Tennessee Department of HealthNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health today announced the state expects to receive its first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on or around December 21st, 2020.

Tennessee receives first shipment of Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccination
