April 2017 Data Tells Story of Continued Improvement in Tennessee’s Workforce
Nashville, TN – Tennessee’s county unemployment rates for April 2017 have decreased in all 95 counties, according to data released today by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD).
Montgomery County’s unemployment rate in April dropped to 4.1 percent from March’s 5.0 percent.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee County unemployment rates for December 2014, show the rate decreased in 20 counties, increased in 64 counties, and remained the same in 11 counties. Henry County’s December rate increased to 8.5 percent, up from 8.2 percent in November.
Knox County had the state’s lowest major metropolitan rate in December at 5.0 percent, down from 5.1 percent in November.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee County unemployment rates for November 2014, released today, show the rate decreased in 18 counties, increased in 63 counties, and remained the same in 14 counties. Henry County’s rate increased from 7.9 percent in October to 8.2 percent.

Nashville, TN – County unemployment rates for July 2014, released today, show the rate increased in 86 counties, decreased in five, and remained the same in four counties. Paris-Henry County’s unemployment rate rose 1.0 percent from 8.9 percent in June to 9.9 percent in July.
