AAA says Holiday Travel Season Approaches, COVD-19 Remains a Concern, Yet Confidence is Growing

Nashville, TN – Tennesseans are cautiously developing plans for the holiday travel season. A new AAA survey determined that the pandemic and presidential election are key influencers in how comfortable people feel about traveling in the coming months.
According to a recent AAA Consumer Pulse™ survey, the majority (74%) are concerned about traveling this holiday season, due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee gas price average continues to decline and has dropped four cents over last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.87 which is seven cents less than one month ago and 43 cents less than one year ago.
Tennessee’s state gas price average has declined the past 20 consecutive days for a total discount of seven cents.
AAA says Tennessee Gas Price Average Falls Two Cents

Nashville, TN – Tennessee gas prices fell, on average, by two cents over the last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.91 which is nearly 2 cents less than one month ago and 40 cents less than one year ago.
“The U.S. has a very healthy level of gasoline stocks due to lower demand and that is keeping gas prices low,” said Megan Cooper, spokesperson, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Tennessee’s state gas price average has declined the past 13 consecutive days, for a total discount of four cents.”

Nashville, TN – AAA reports that Tennessee gas prices dropped by a penny, on average, over the last week. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $1.93 which is a penny less than one month ago and 41 cents less than one year ago.
“Decreases in U.S. gasoline demand, supply and imports helped push pump prices lower on the week,” said Megan Cooper, spokesperson, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “It’s likely that motorists will continue to see pump prices decline this week.”

“We are heading into the fall driving season where we typically see a drop in demand due to fewer road trips.
