TDOT Halts All Lane Closure Activity for Busy Holiday Travel Period
Nashville, TN – Thanksgiving travelers will not be slowed by construction on Tennessee roads during this busy travel holiday. TDOT will halt all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways in anticipation of higher traffic volumes across the state.
All construction related lane closures will be stopped beginning at noon on Wednesday, November 26th through 6:00am Monday, December 1st.

Holiday Travelers Won’t Be Slowed by Road Construction
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation will halt all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways for the busy Labor Day holiday travel period. Construction crews will stop all lane closure activity beginning at noon on Friday, August 29th, through 6:00am on Tuesday, September 2nd.
This will provide maximum roadway capacity for motorists traveling during the busy Labor Day holiday.

Nashville, TN – Road construction won’t slow motorists across Tennessee over the July 4th holiday. The Tennessee Department of Transportation will suspend all construction-related lane closures on interstates and state routes beginning at 6:00am on Thursday, July 3rd, 2014 through 6:00am on Monday, July 7th to provide maximum roadway capacity for holiday travelers.
