Nashville, TN – More Tennesseans took home paychecks in November, leading to a slight drop in statewide unemployment. New data from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD) shows a 0.1 of a percentage point decrease in unemployment when compared to the previous month, setting the new rate at 3.3 percent.

Nashville, TN – Newly released data from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD) shows 38 counties experienced a drop in unemployment during October, while rates remained the same in 24 counties, and increased in 33 counties.
Henry County’s unemployment rate was unchanged in October, remaining at 3.7 percent, the same as September.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee’s unemployment rate held steady in October. The new rate of 3.4 percent matches the previous month’s rate, according to data from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD).
While Tennessee’s jobless rate remained the same between September and October, over the past year, Tennessee’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate experienced a slight uptick from 3.3 percent to 3.4 percent.
