Nashville, TN – Road Construction will not delay motorists as they travel Tennessee’s highways this Memorial Day weekend.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will suspend all construction-related lane closures on interstates and state routes beginning at noon on Friday, May 28th through 6:00am on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced a partnership with the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, Tennessee Sheriffs’ Association and the Peace Officer Standards & Training Commission to enhance policies, improve information sharing and increase officer training.

The TDOT will suspend all construction-related lane closures on interstates and state routes beginning at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 24th through 6:00am on Tuesday, May 28th, 2019.
