Paris, TN – Pro angler Tom Redington of Royse City, Texas, brought five bass to the scale Friday weighing 24 pounds, 9 ounces to grab the lead on day two of the Walmart FLW Tour at Kentucky Lake presented by Evinrude.
Redington now has a two-day catch of 10 bass weighing 46-15 and holds a 1-pound, 8-ounce lead over second-place pro Scott Martin of Clewiston, FL, in the four-day event, hosted by the Henry County Alliance, that features 162 of the best bass-fishing anglers in the world competing for a top cash award of up to $125,000.

Paris, TN – Pro angler Brett Hite of Phoenix, AR, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Thursday weighing 24 pounds, 14 ounces to grab the lead after day one of the Walmart FLW Tour at Kentucky Lake presented by Evinrude.
Hite now holds a 2-pound, 3-ounce lead heading into day two of the four-day event, hosted by the Henry County Alliance, that features 162 of the best bass-fishing anglers in the world competing for a top cash award of up to $125,000.

Buchanan, TN – The 129th Army Band will be performing at Paris Landing State Park next Wednesday evening, July 2nd, at 6:30pm. Please join this most excellent group of musicians for an evening of beautiful music at Paris Landing’s amphitheater.

Special Living History Encampment at Fort Donelson

Dover, TN – This year the Nation commemorates the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the American Civil War. This September 3rd and 4th, Fort Donelson National Battlefield will commemorate 150th anniversary of the building of this unique Confederate fort, Fort Donelson, along the Cumberland River.
On September 3rd and 4th, a living history encampment will be offered at the main unit of Fort Donelson National Battlefield, along Highway 79 in Dover, Tennessee. During the weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the strategic importance of this Confederate fort, how it was built, and why and how how troops were recruited for the Confederate cause.
