AAANashville, TN – AAA reports that Tennessee gas prices have continued their decline for a consecutive 37 days, dropping 21 cents since January 5th when the Tennessee gas price average was $2.39.

The Tennessee Gas Price average  is $2.18 which is five cents cheaper than last week, 21 cents less than one month ago, and 14 cents more than one year ago.

AAA reports Winter Gas Prices Continue to Decline

AAATampa, FL – AAA says new data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) has revealed that a high level of gasoline stocks and low demand continue to put downward pressure on pump prices across the country.

For total domestic gasoline stocks, last week’s level – 261.1 million bbl – is in line with the previous week’s level.

AAA reports Pump Prices, Crude Oil Continue to Decline

AAATampa, FL – The national gas price average is $2.47, which is four cents cheaper than last week and 11 cents cheaper than the beginning of the year. Motorists are paying less to fill up especially as crude oil prices are less expensive.

“Gas prices are pushing cheaper for two reasons. Crude oil prices are $10.00 less a barrel than one month ago and U.S. gasoline stocks sit at an all-time record high,” said Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson.

AAA reports Tennessee Gas Prices Still Declining

AAANashville, TN – AAA says Tennessee gas prices have dropped 16 cents in the last 30 days and are expected to trend even lower in the coming week.

The Tennessee Gas Price average  is $2.23 which is five cents cheaper than last week, 16 cents less than one month ago, and 20 cents more than one year ago.

AAAWashington, D.C. – AAA reports that the national gas price average is $2.51, which is three cents cheaper than last week, four cents less than last month, and 25 cents more than a year ago.

Gas prices have continued to drop over the last week as gasoline stocks grew again, measuring at 260 million bbl – the highest stock level ever recorded by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) since it began recording the data in 1990.

AAA reports National Average Unchanged as Gas Stocks Grow, Demand Remains Low

January 25, 2020

AAATampa, FL – AAA says in its latest weekly report, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) revealed that total domestic stocks of gasoline continue to grow. According to EIA’s data, stocks grew by 1.7 million bbl last week, bringing the current total to 260 million bbl.

The current level is in line with the level seen in mid-January 2019.

AAATampa, FL – The national gas price average is $2.54, which is three cents cheaper than last week, a penny less than last month, yet 30-cents more than a year ago.

AAA reports Growing Stocks, Low Demand Help National Average Decline

AAATampa, FL – AAA says last week, gas demand hit 8.56 million b/d, according to new data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

The current rate is in line with last year’s rate seen in mid-January, a time that typically brings lower demand due to winter weather. EIA’s data also revealed that total domestic stocks of gasoline grew by 6.7 million bbl last week, bringing the total to 258.3 million bbl.

AAA reports National Gas Price Average remains unchanged in January

January 15, 2020

AAATampa, FL – AAA says that despite crude oil price fluctuation and growing geopolitical concerns with Iran in the last week, the national gas price average has held steady at $2.58 since the beginning of the year. Today’s national average is two cents more than last month and 34-cents more expensive than the beginning of 2019.

“A healthy and growing level of domestic gasoline stocks alongside decreasing demand are two factors helping to minimize gas price fluctuations,” said Jeanette Casselano, AAA spokesperson.
