Land Between the Lakes - LBLLand Between the Lakes, KY/TN – Fairy tales are coming to visit the Woodlands Nature Station for the 23rd Annual Howl-O-Ween program, Saturday, October 21st, 2017 from 1:00pm-4:30pm at the Woodlands Nature Station in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. 

Trick or treat with fairy tale characters during a guided walk along our Howl-O-Ween Trail. Also play games, make crafts, and get your face painted while visiting the Woodlands Nature Station Backyard, included with admission.

Land Between the Lakes’ The Homeplace 1850s Farm to host Traditional Independence Day Celebration

Land Between the Lakes - LBLLand Between the Lakes, KY/TN – Visitors searching for a traditional family-oriented celebration may visit the Homeplace 1850s Farm on the Fourth of July at Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area.

Celebrate Independence Day from 1:00pm-4:00pm on Monday, July 4th, 2016 with races, skillet tossing, horse shoes, old-time music, toys, and games. Admission is $5.00 ages 13 and up; $3.00 ages 5-12; free for ages 4 and under, and includes all the day’s activities and programs.

Cool and Crawly Critters Day July 16th

Land Between the LakesGolden Pond, KY – Come out to Land Between The Lakes (LBL) and celebrate nature with an up-close look at all sorts of creatures, especially those that are often underappreciated. Cool and Crawly Critters Day will be at Woodlands Nature Station (NS) Saturday, July 16th, 2011, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
