TBI reports Frederick Yates Jr. of Humboldt Indicted in Gibson County Double Homicide

Milan, TN – A joint investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Gibson County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the indictment of a man on charges connected to a double homicide.
At the request of 28th District Attorney General Frederick Agee, on August 23rd, TBI special agents joined investigators with the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office in investigating a double homicide at a home in the 100 block of Wilbur Nelson Road in Milan.
Marcus Smith (DOB: 5/16/00), of Humboldt, and Diamond Love (DOB: 3/28/01), who lived at the residence, were found deceased inside the home.

Paris, TN – Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) Special Agents have obtained indictments in connection to an 18-year-old homicide case.
On June 8th, 2001, the Paris Police Department responded to a home at 322 Rison Street in Paris, where investigators found Etta Etheridge (DOB: 4/6/29) inside unresponsive. Her death was ruled a homicide.
At the request of 24th District Attorney General, over the years that followed, TBI Agents and investigators from the Paris Police Department conducted an extensive joint investigation.
Kirby Wallace captured in Stewart County

Woodlawn, TN – Just before 10:30am Friday morning, September 5th, 2018, Kirby Gene Wallace was taken into custody by Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew and Corporal Stacey Bostwick. This ended a week long manhunt for the 53 year old Wallace who was wanted for killing two people and injuring another.
Belew and Bostwick had left the search Thursday afternoon but were called back around 12:30am Friday morning because there was need of another track dog. Stacey Bostwick handles Rowdy one of Henry County’s blood hounds.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrests, charges Paris Tennessee Police Officer in Infant Son’s Death

Jackson, TN – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have arrested and charged a police officer from the Paris, Tennessee Police Department in connection to the death of his infant son earlier this month.
On September 2nd, at the request of 24th District Attorney General Matthew Stowe, TBI Special Agents began investigating the cause of life-threatening injuries sustained by almost three-month-old Gunner Page at his family’s home in Puryear.
