2016 Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit (TOYS) Set June 12th-17th
Nashville, TN – The Seventh Annual Tennessee Outdoors Youth Summit (TOYS), will be June 12th-17th, 2016 for high school students from across Tennessee. The students will be introduced to many outdoor activities at the event to be held at the Montgomery County Shooting Complex near Clarksville.
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation are partnering to host this year’s event.

AAA says U.S. and Georgia Average Gas Prices near $2 a Gallon

Tampa, FL – Gas prices fell another 7 cents last week as the national average settled at $2.07, moving closer to $2.00 a gallon. If it happens, this would be the first time the national average was under $2.00 in nearly six years (March 2009).
“The national average could be $2.00 or less by this time next week,” said Mark Jenkins, spokesman, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Gasoline has been falling at a rate of about 1-cent a day and that trend is likely to continue in the next seven days.” [Read more]

Nashville, TN – The number of confirmed cases of tuberculosis, one of the world’s oldest and deadliest diseases, reached a historic low in Tennessee in 2013. However, many TB cases seen in Tennessee in recent years are complex and more challenging for health care providers to treat.
