Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) Thursday released the latest student enrollment data for the fall 2019 semester, indicating an increase of 1,541 students, which is a 0.7% increase compared with 2018.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) released college enrollment data for the fall 2018 semester, indicating that 221,775 students across the state enrolled in community colleges and public universities for the 2018-2019 academic year.
This marks the third consecutive year that postsecondary enrollment has grown across the state, and an increase of 1,656 additional students compared to fall 2017.
Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance Cautions Tennesseans about Insurance Availability Outside of Open Enrollment

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI) is reminding Tennesseans that open enrollment for Affordable Care Act (ACA)-compliant plans ends on March 31st, 2014. After the March 31st deadline, TDCI cautions that it may be challenging to acquire ACA-compliant plans outside of special enrollment periods.
Additionally, Tennesseans enrolled in plans that are not fully ACA-compliant, including “grandfathered,” “grandmothered,” or “transitional” plans, may receive notices in 2014 of premium increases upon renewal.
