Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is offering the reminder that the application period for the 2021-22 season-long (Tier 1) duck blinds will close July 21st at 11:59pm CDT with results announced in early August.
All applications must be submitted through www.GoOutdoorsTennessee.com. Significant changes have been made to public land duck hunting this year to increase opportunities for all duck hunters.

Changes to Public Land Duck Hunting
Nashville, TN – The application period for the 2021-22 season-long (Tier 1) duck blinds opens June 30th and will close July 21st at 11:59pm CT with results announced in early August. All applications must be submitted through www.GoOutdoorsTennessee.com.
Significant changes have been made to public land duck hunting this year to increase opportunities for all duck hunters.
For season-long blinds (Tier 1) on public lands, most things will remain like the 2020-21 season.
TWRA reports Computerized Drawing to take place this year for Duck Blinds, Sandhill Crane Permits

Nashville, TN -The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) announces that the procedure for issuing duck blinds and sandhill crane tags this year will be 100 percent online with no in-person drawings due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. The change came in an emergency rule approved by the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission.
This year’s process was changed in an effort to help protect public health since the handheld drawing usually results in large crowds gathering at the various locations around the state.

Adjustments Set for August 3rd Handheld Duck Blind Drawings

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) wants to remind waterfowl hunters of adjustments that have been made for the August 3rd, 2019 handheld duck blind drawings to be conducted at 10 locations.
On-site registrations for individuals will be conducted in the traditional format from 7:00am-10:00am. There will be a two-stage drawing.
Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission makes adjustments to Duck Blind Drawings

Cookeville, TN – At the June meeting of the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission adjustments were made for the August handheld duck bling drawings and an update on a fisheries research cooperative effort was given among the agenda items.
At the TFWC’s May meeting, the commission requested Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency staff review the handheld duck blind drawing process for consistency and ways to reduce the likelihood of buying/selling of blind sites.
TWRA announces 2014 Waterfowl Blind Permit Drawings to be held August 2nd

Nashville, TN – Tennessee’s long-standing tradition of hand-drawn duck blind drawings will be held at the regular sites across the state on Saturday, August 2nd.

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission approves 2012-13 Hunting Seasons

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission set the state’s 2012-13 hunting seasons during its May meeting which concluded Friday at the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Ray Bell Region II Building.
Among the changes, Tennessee sportsmen will see an increase in deer and bear harvest opportunities.
In regard to white-tailed deer hunting, the TWRC approved the TWRA’s proposal to increase the antlerless archery season bag limit in Unit B to four deer per season. [Read more]
