Tennessee Governor Bill Lee Announces Transportation Alternatives Grants Statewide

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner Clay Bright announced today the award of $13,669,998 Transportation Alternatives Grants statewide in Tennessee.
“Tennessee is committed to continuing to develop safe infrastructure across our states,” Lee said. “These grants will help us reach our goal of being a healthier state and will enhance the lives of Tennesseans by making our communities more accessible and livable.”
Tennessee Department of Transportation announces No Lane Closures for Labor Day Holiday

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will halt all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways for the Labor Day holiday travel period. Construction crews will stop all lane closure activity beginning at noon on Friday, August 30th through 6:00am on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019.
Construction Won’t Slow July 4th Travelers in Tennessee

Nashville, TN – Motorists across Tennessee will not be slowed down by road construction over the July 4th, 2019 holiday. The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will suspend all construction-related lane closures on interstates and state routes beginning at 12:00pm on Wednesday, July 3rd through 6:00am on Monday, July 8th to provide maximum roadway capacity for holiday travelers.

Nashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) says motorists won’t be delayed by road construction as they travel Tennessee’s highways this Memorial Day weekend.
The TDOT will suspend all construction-related lane closures on interstates and state routes beginning at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 24th through 6:00am on Tuesday, May 28th, 2019.
