TWRA Big Game Quota Hunt Application Period going on now

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has announced the application period for the 2021 Wildlife Management Area (WMA) Big Game Quota Hunts, the regular elk, youth elk, and WMA youth is now underway through July 23rd.
Entries must be submitted before midnight CDT July 23rd. The WMA hunting instruction sheet lists locations and dates for each of the quota hunts along with drawing rules and regulations. Instruction sheets can be obtained and applications made for the hunts at any TWRA license agent,

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has announced the application period for the 2019 Wildlife Management Area (WMA) Big Game Quota hunts, the Cherokee Party Dog hunts, the regular and youth elk hunts, and WMA youth hunts will run from June 19th through July 24th.
Applications must be submitted before midnight (CDT) July 24th. The WMA hunting instruction sheet lists locations and dates for each of the quota hunts along with drawing rules and regulations. The current instruction sheet is available at www.tn.gov/twra/hunting/quota-hunts. Applications may be submitted online at www.GoOutdoorsTennessee.com, at any TWRA license agent, or TWRA regional office. Mailed applications will not be processed into the drawing system.

TWRA announces 2015 WMA Big Game Quota Hunt Results available, Leftover Permits go on Sale August 26th

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is announcing that the 2015 big game quota hunts have been posted. Application results can be viewed on the TWRA website by visiting www.tnwildlife.org and the “For Hunters” section.
When reviewing the application results, sportsmen must enter in only one form of identification without using dashes, spaces or special characters (for example 123456789) and then enter in the date of birth using the format mm/dd/yyyy ( example-06/10/1967). [Read more]

TWRA’s Application Period Deadline approaching for 2012 WMA Big Game Quota Hunts

Nashville, TN – The application period deadline for all Wildlife Management Area (WMA) 2012 Big Game Quota Hunts will run is July 25th. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency began accepting applications on June 13th.
