Join The Homeplace for a Traditional Christmas in 1850

Land Between the Lakes, KY/TN – The Homeplace 1850s Farm invites members of the public to experience Christmas in 1850 on Saturday, November 28th, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area.
Adults and children alike can whisper their Christmas wishes to Santa Claus and participate in traditional Christmas activities. Homeplace admission includes Christmas in 1850 programs: $5.00 ages 13 and up, $3.00 ages 5-12, and free ages 4 and under. All ages are welcome at this family event.
Children sit on Santa’s lap to tell him what they would like for Christmas. Join us each year in November at The Homeplace in Land Between The Lakes for an 1850’s Christmas. (Keurin Gaffney)

Golden Pond, KY – Bring the family and experience a simpler 1850’s Christmas. For over 10 years children have enjoyed visiting with Santa Claus at The Homeplace 1850’s working farm. Christmas in 1850 will be held on Saturday, November 29th, from 1:00pm-4:00pm.
Visitors to the 1850’s farm can make Christmas decorations, collect holiday recipes, and sing along to old-time Christmas tunes provided by The Dixie Volunteers.
