\"LandOffice of Land Between the Lakes, KY\/TN<\/strong> \u2013 Kentucky Lake Bass Club and the Knights of Columbus of Aurora will sponsor the 38th Annual Special Populations Fishing Tournament on Saturday, May 16th.<\/p>\n

This tournament develops the fishing skills of children and adults who are physically or mentally challenged. Land Between The Lakes hosts the tournament at Honker Lake, off Forest Service Road 135 near Woodlands Nature Station.<\/p>\n

Registration for the free tournament is from 8:00-9:00am; fishing is from 9:00am until 12:00pm. Prizes will be awarded for the heaviest string of fish.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a fun day for volunteers, parents, caregivers, and especially the anglers,\u201d commented Cathy Goode with Kentucky Lake Bass Club. \u201cWe encourage everyone to come out and enjoy this special event!\u201d<\/p>\n

Pre-registration is encouraged to ensure adequate supplies of poles and bait are on-hand. Call 270.924.2046 to pre-register or for more information.<\/p>\n
