For those going out this weekend, that means having a Designated Driver.<\/p>\n<p>You can also call a cab or stay where you are celebrating.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you are a AAA member or not, you can call for a Tow to Go ride anytime Friday through Sunday night. AAA will then safely transport you and your vehicle home or somewhere safe within 10 miles.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Tow-to-Go.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-296046\" title=\"Tow to Go\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Tow-to-Go-480x296.jpg\" alt=\"Tow to Go\" height=\"296\" width=\"480\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>For Super Bowl party hosts, AAA has the following tips:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Encourage carpooling with a Designated Driver or have a Designated Driver available to drive guests home as needed<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t force alcoholic beverages on your guests or over-serve them<\/li>\n<li>Serve protein-rich, starchy foods throughout the evening<\/li>\n<li>Have plenty of non-alcoholic beverages available<\/li>\n<li>If you are concerned for someone\u2019s safety and they don\u2019t have a Designated Driver, call them a cab, have them stay overnight, or call Tow to Go<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWe are asking all motorists to celebrate the big game in a responsible way,\u201d said Gerry Gutowski, senior vice president, Automotive Services, The Auto Club Group. \u201cNever get behind the wheel impaired and make sure your friends and family do the same.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since its inception in 1998, <em>Tow to Go<\/em> has safely removed more than 23,000 impaired drivers from the roads. The service is designed to be used as a last resort. It is offered based on availability of AAA drivers and tow trucks during times of high call volume.
