And only 1 percent of women today say they aren&#8217;t sure whether they are deal seekers.<\/p>\n<h3>Some other figures that jump out from the survey:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>23 percent sometimes buy things <\/strong>they don&#8217;t need just because they&#8217;re on sale, while 32 percent show great restraint and never make such purchases.<\/li>\n<li><strong>36 percent feel guilty <\/strong>when they pay full price.<\/li>\n<li><strong>47 percent share news<\/strong> of their great deal with family and close friends, 35 percent tell anyone who will listen, and 10 percent keep it to themselves.<\/li>\n<li><strong>59 percent wait for a sale <\/strong>to buy what they want.<\/li>\n<li><strong>77 percent rarely or never regret <\/strong>buying a sale item.<\/li>\n<li><strong>80 percent say they&#8217;d look for a sale <\/strong>even if money were no object.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You&#8217;ll find more details from the survey below, including information on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.consumerreports.org\/cro\/news\/2014\/04\/america-s-bargain-hunting-habits\/index.htm#coupons\" >coupons<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.consumerreports.org\/cro\/news\/2014\/04\/america-s-bargain-hunting-habits\/index.htm#haggling\" >haggling<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Where are you on the bargain-crazy spectrum?
