In an effort to reduce our spending, the Calendar of Events will no longer be available in a print edition. (Land Between the Lakes)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more-->We designed this new calendar and guide as a resource tool for front-line staff to easily answer questions your customers may have about activities in the region and specifically Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll notice that we\u2019ve included some regional major events to enhance visitors\u2019 experiences to our recreation area and other regional attractions.<\/p>\n<h3>Topics include:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>12 month calendar with program and event listings plus monthly Natural Phenomena<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How to use Land Between The Lakes<\/li>\n<li>Attractions like the Elk &amp; Bison Prairie, The Homeplace, Nature Station, Planetarium, and Observatory<\/li>\n<li>Activities like birding; wildlife viewing; scenic drives; and trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding and off-highway-vehicle (OHV) driving<\/li>\n<li>Outdoor recreation with hunting, fishing, swimming, and boating<\/li>\n<li>Camping with descriptions of our campgrounds and backcountry<\/li>\n<li>Hours, fees, passes, rules, and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Contact information<\/li>\n<li>Community URLs<\/li>\n<li>Facility amenity charts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please email us at <a href=\"mailto:LBLinfo@fs.fed.us\">LBLinfo@fs.fed.us<\/a>, if you would like us to include a regional major event on this calendar or if you wish to receive the updated PDF link when it\u2019s posted.
