That is an increase of <strong>1,466 <\/strong>cases from Friday&#8217;s 695,645. There have been<strong> 9,756 (+10)<\/strong> confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.<\/p>\n<p>There have been<strong> SIX<\/strong> new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Henry County. The total is 3,137. There have been seventy five deaths in Henry County due to the virus. <strong>Two<\/strong> new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Stewart County. The total of cases in Stewart County is 1,315. The total is 9,692. There have been 130 deaths in Robertson County due to the virus. <strong>EIGHT <\/strong>new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Cheatham County. The total is 4,508. There have been fifty five deaths in Cheatham County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SIX<\/strong> new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Dickson County. The total in Dickson County is 6,787. There have been 109 deaths in Dickson County because of the virus.<\/p>\n<p>There have been no new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Houston County. The total in Houston County is 1,088. There have been thirty three deaths in Houston County due to the virus. <strong>Three<\/strong> new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Benton County. The total is 1,643. There have been forty deaths in Benton County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EIGHT<\/strong> new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Humphreys County. The total is 1,771. There have been twenty two deaths in Humphreys County due to the virus. There have been <strong>NINE <\/strong>new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Carroll County. The total in Carroll County is 3,596. There have been eighty three deaths in Carroll County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ONE HUNDRED<\/strong> new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Montgomery County. The total is 19,947. <strong>TWENTY NINE<\/strong> of the new cases reported across the last three days were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There have been 224 deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus. There were 155 tests given with 21 positive results for a 13.5 percent positive.<\/p>\n<p>Nashville-Davidson County now has 88,643 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of <strong>164 <\/strong>cases from Friday&#8217;s 88,479. There have been 929 deaths in Davidson County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ELEVEN<\/strong> new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Christian County Kentucky. The total is 6,814. There have been <strong>104 (+1)<\/strong> deaths in Christian County Kentucky due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>According to John Hopkins University, there are now a total of 32,113,705 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus in the United States. That is an increase of <strong>121,696<\/strong> cases from Friday&#8217;s 31,992,009. There have now been 572,605 deaths in the United States connected to COVID-19 Coronavirus. This is an increase of <strong>1,408 <\/strong>deaths from Friday&#8217;s 571,197.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>All Tennessee county and United States figures are calculated from Friday&#8217;s numbers since the Tennessee Department of Health is no longer providing COVID-19 Coronavirus information over the weekends and holidays.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[470center]<\/p>\n<h3>Tennessee Confirmed Cases<\/h3>\n<iframe src=\"\/\/docs.google.com\/viewer?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.clarksvilleonline.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2021%2F04%2FTDH-2019-Novel-Coronavirus-Epi-and-Surveillance-April-26th-2021.pdf&hl=en_US&embedded=true\" class=\"gde-frame\" style=\"width:100%; height:500px; border: none;\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n<p class=\"gde-text\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/TDH-2019-Novel-Coronavirus-Epi-and-Surveillance-April-26th-2021.pdf\"  class=\"gde-link\">Download (PDF, 502KB)<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Case Management Protocol<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The Tennessee Department of Health will post updated COVID-19 Coronavirus cases including the county of residence between 2:00pm and 5:00pm Monday through Friday at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tn.gov\/health\/cedep\/ncov.html\" >www.tn.gov\/health\/cedep\/ncov.html<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The TDH State Public Health Laboratory is running COVID-19 Coronavirus testing seven days a week to assist public health authorities and health care workers in identifying cases and treating individuals.<\/li>\n<li>TDH directly oversees 89 county health departments and serves as a partner organization to the six major metropolitan jurisdictions including Shelby County, Madison County, Davidson County, Knox County, Hamilton County, and Sullivan County.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Recommended Precautions<\/h3>\n<p>Tennesseans are encouraged to take routine precautions used in guarding against respiratory viruses:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash your hands often with soap and water. Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.<\/li>\n<li>Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t touch your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands<\/li>\n<li>Stay home if you are sick<\/li>\n<li>Stay away from people who are sick<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[470center]<\/p>\n<h3>COVID-19 Symptoms<\/h3>\n<p>Most patients with confirmed COVID-19 Coronavirus infection have a mild respiratory illness with fever, cough, and shortness of breath. A smaller number of patients have severe symptoms requiring hospitalization.<\/p>\n<h3>COVID-19 Information Line<\/h3>\n<p>TDH has launched a Tennessee Coronavirus Public Information Line in partnership with the Tennessee Poison Center. The number is 877.857.2945 and is available daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm CT.<\/p>\n<p>People with concerns about their health should contact their health care providers.
