That is an increase of <strong>5,546 <\/strong>cases from Friday&#8217;s 452,581. There have been <strong>5,333 (+46)<\/strong> confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.<\/p>\n<p>There have been&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong> T W E N T Y &nbsp; E I G H T &nbsp; <\/strong>new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Henry County. The total is at 2,101. There has been thirty one deaths in Henry County due to the virus.&nbsp; <strong>F O U R T E E N &nbsp; <\/strong>new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Stewart County. The total of cases in Stewart County is 776. There has been <strong>nineteen (+1)<\/strong> deaths in Cheatham County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>There have been&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp; T H I R T Y &nbsp; F I V E &nbsp;<\/strong> new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Dickson County. The total in Dickson County is at 4,061. There has been fifty one deaths in Dickson County because of the virus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FOUR&nbsp; <\/strong>new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Houston County. The total in Houston County is 725. There has been twenty one deaths in Houston County due to the virus. The total is at 1,028. There has been <strong>ten (+1)<\/strong> deaths in Humphreys County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>T H I R T Y &nbsp; N I N E &nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp; new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Carroll County. The total in Carroll County is 2,399. There have been <strong>forty six (+1)<\/strong> deaths in Carroll County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>There have been&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp; O N E &nbsp;&nbsp; H U N D R E D &nbsp;&nbsp; F I F T Y &nbsp; T H R E E &nbsp;<\/strong> new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Montgomery County. The total is at 9,869. Twenty seven of the new cases reported today were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There has been 106 deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>T W E N T Y &nbsp; N I N E &nbsp;<\/strong> news cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Christian County Kentucky. The total is at 3,679. There have been <strong>forty nine (+5)<\/strong> deaths in Christian County Kentucky due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>Nashville-Davidson County now has 54,560 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of <strong>567 <\/strong>cases from Friday&#8217;s 53,993. There have been <strong>498 (+3)<\/strong> deaths in Davidson County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>According to John Hopkins University there are now a total of 17,592,999 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus in the United States. That is an increase of <strong>266,073<\/strong> cases in 24 hours from Friday&#8217;s 17,326,926 . There have now been 315,312 deaths in the United States connected to COVID-19 Coronavirus. This is an increase of <strong>3,093 <\/strong>deaths from Friday&#8217;s 312,219.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[470center]<\/p>\n<h3>Tennessee Confirmed Cases<\/h3>\n<p>Not available.<\/p>\n<h3>Case Management Protocol<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The Tennessee Department of Health will post updated COVID-19 Coronavirus cases including county of residence by 2:00pm each day at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tn.gov\/health\/cedep\/ncov.html\" >www.tn.gov\/health\/cedep\/ncov.html<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The TDH State Public Health Laboratory is running COVID-19 Coronavirus testing seven days a week to assist public health authorities and health care workers in identifying cases and treating individuals.<\/li>\n<li>TDH directly oversees 89 county health departments and serves as a partner organization to the six major metropolitan jurisdictions including:&nbsp; Shelby County, Madison County, Davidson County, Knox County, Hamilton County and Sullivan County.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Recommended Precautions<\/h3>\n<p>Tennesseans are encouraged to take routine precautions used in guarding against respiratory viruses:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash your hands often with soap and water. Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.<\/li>\n<li>Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t touch your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands<\/li>\n<li>Stay home if you are sick<\/li>\n<li>Stay away from people who are sick<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[470center]<\/p>\n<h3>COVID-19 Symptoms<\/h3>\n<p>Most patients with confirmed COVID-19 Coronavirus infection have mild respiratory illness with fever, cough and shortness of breath. A smaller number of patients have severe symptoms requiring hospitalization.<\/p>\n<h3>COVID-19 Information Line<\/h3>\n<p>TDH has launched a Tennessee Coronavirus Public Information Line in partnership with the Tennessee Poison Center. The number is 877.857.2945 and is available daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm CT.<\/p>\n<p>People with concerns about their health should contact their health care providers.
