That is an increase of <strong>3,613 <\/strong>cases from Tuesday&#8217;s 298,288. There have been <strong>3,749 (+44)<\/strong> confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>T W E N T Y &nbsp; E I G H T<\/strong> &nbsp; new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Henry County. The total is at 1,289. There has been fifteen deaths in Henry County due to the virus. There have been&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>S I X &nbsp;<\/strong> new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Stewart County. The total of cases in Stewart County is 525. The total is at 3,318. There have been <strong>forty nine (+1<\/strong>) deaths in Robertson County due to the virus. <strong>T H I R T E E N &nbsp;<\/strong> new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Cheatham County. The total is at 1,399. There has been sixteen deaths in Cheatham County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>F&nbsp; I F T Y &nbsp; E I G H T &nbsp; <\/strong>new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Dickson County. The total in Dickson County is at 2,519. There has been twenty six deaths in Dickson County because of the virus.<\/p>\n<p>There have been&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong> S I X &nbsp;<\/strong> new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Houston County. The total in Houston County is 555. There has been nineteen deaths in Houston County due to the virus. <strong>T W E N T Y &nbsp;<\/strong> new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Benton County. The total is at 689. There has been thirteen deaths in Benton County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>N I N E &nbsp; <\/strong>new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Humphreys County. The total is at 610. There has been seven deaths in Humphreys County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>There have been &nbsp; <strong>T H I R T Y &nbsp; F I V E<\/strong> &nbsp; new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Carroll County. The total in Carroll County is 1,512. There have been thirty deaths in Carroll County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>F I F T Y &nbsp;&nbsp; F O U R &nbsp;<\/strong> new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Montgomery County. The total is at 5,759. Eight of the new cases reported today were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There has been seventy seven deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>There have been &nbsp; <strong>F O R T Y &nbsp; S E V E N<\/strong> &nbsp; news cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Christian County Kentucky. The total is at 2,487. There have been <strong>thirty five (+1)<\/strong> deaths in Christian County Kentucky due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>Nashville-Davidson County now has 39,122 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of <strong>403 <\/strong>cases from Tuesday&#8217;s 38,719. There have been <strong>391 (+1)<\/strong> deaths in Davidson County due to the virus.<\/p>\n<p>According to John Hopkins University there are now a total of 11,424,275 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus in the United States. That is an increase of <strong>157,723<\/strong> cases in 24 hours from Tuesday&#8217;s 11,266,552. There have now been 249,477 deaths in the United States connected to COVID-19 Coronavirus. This is an increase of <strong>1,781<\/strong> deaths from Tuesday&#8217;s 247,696.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[470center]<\/p>\n<h3>Tennessee Confirmed Cases<\/h3>\n<iframe src=\"\/\/docs.google.com\/viewer?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.clarksvilleonline.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2020%2F11%2FTDH-2019-Novel-Coronavirus-Epi-and-Surveillance-November-18th-2020.pdf&hl=en_US&embedded=true\" class=\"gde-frame\" style=\"width:100%; height:500px; border: none;\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n<p class=\"gde-text\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/TDH-2019-Novel-Coronavirus-Epi-and-Surveillance-November-18th-2020.pdf\"  class=\"gde-link\">Download (PDF, 314KB)<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Case Management Protocol<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The Tennessee Department of Health will post updated COVID-19 Coronavirus cases including county of residence by 2:00pm each day at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tn.gov\/health\/cedep\/ncov.html\" >www.tn.gov\/health\/cedep\/ncov.html<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The TDH State Public Health Laboratory is running COVID-19 Coronavirus testing seven days a week to assist public health authorities and health care workers in identifying cases and treating individuals.<\/li>\n<li>TDH directly oversees 89 county health departments and serves as a partner organization to the six major metropolitan jurisdictions including:&nbsp; Shelby County, Madison County, Davidson County, Knox County, Hamilton County and Sullivan County.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Recommended Precautions<\/h3>\n<p>Tennesseans are encouraged to take routine precautions used in guarding against respiratory viruses:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash your hands often with soap and water. Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.<\/li>\n<li>Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t touch your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands<\/li>\n<li>Stay home if you are sick<\/li>\n<li>Stay away from people who are sick<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[470center]<\/p>\n<h3>COVID-19 Symptoms<\/h3>\n<p>Most patients with confirmed COVID-19 Coronavirus infection have mild respiratory illness with fever, cough and shortness of breath. A smaller number of patients have severe symptoms requiring hospitalization.<\/p>\n<h3>COVID-19 Information Line<\/h3>\n<p>TDH has launched a Tennessee Coronavirus Public Information Line in partnership with the Tennessee Poison Center. The number is 877.857.2945 and is available daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm CT.<\/p>\n<p>People with concerns about their health should contact their health care providers.
