All donations are 100 percent tax deductible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of us at Jack Daniel\u2019s fully support the men and women of our military and recognize the sacrifices they make every day on our behalf,\u201d said Jeff Arnett, Jack Daniel\u2019s Master Distiller. \u201cFor so many of our junior-enlisted service members and their families, trying to decide whether to buy gifts for their children or use the money to travel home for the holidays is a stark choice and one they shouldn\u2019t be forced to make.&nbsp; Operation Ride Home is there to help ease the financial burden, and we hope all our friends will donate what they can so even more families can be reunited with their loved ones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile we are overjoyed to be able to help junior-enlisted military members spend time with loved ones at the holidays, each year there are never enough funds to support the many requests we receive,\u201d said William French, President\/CEO of the Armed Services YMCA. \u201cFor every family we\u2019re able to help, there are 10 deserving families waiting.&nbsp; We wish all of those protecting our nation would be able to go home for the holidays.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ASYMCA works with the various military commands in specific areas co-located with ASYMCA branches to identify and prioritize junior-enlisted service members and families most in financial need. Plane tickets and pre-paid debit cards are given to assist those traveling.<\/p>\n<p>Operation Ride Home is open to active duty E-4 and below, both single and married, who might not otherwise financially be able to travel home for the holidays. The option to drive or fly is an individual decision.
