Admission to this special event is $7.00 ages 13 and up, $5.00 ages 5-12, and free for children 4 and under.<\/p>\n<p>Ruby-throated Hummingbird migration peaks at Land Between the Lakes in August.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_42264\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/hummingbirds.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-42264\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-42264\" title=\"Migrating hummingbirds visiting feeders at Nature Station \" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/hummingbirds-480x295.jpg\" alt=\"Migrating hummingbirds visiting feeders at Nature Station\" width=\"480\" height=\"295\"><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-42264\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Migrating hummingbirds visiting feeders at Nature Station<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more-->\u201cThis festival is a wonderful time for people to see and learn about these powerful birds,\u201d says Nature Station Lead Naturalist John Pollpeter. \u201cA large number of hummingbirds stop here on their way south to Central America and up to 250 might visit our feeders in a single day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Highlights include hummingbird banding and release demonstrations, a wildlife art show, staff-led programs, a native plant sale, live animal encounters, local wildlife experts and activities for kids. Food will be available for purchase.<\/p>\n<p>Programs focusing on hummingbirds will be presented all month at Nature Station.
