(LBL)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more-->This year\u2019s theme is \u201cSpringtime on the Farm!\u201d Children can experience life as a child on an1850s farm, with work and play focused on this special season of the year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFarm children worked alongside their parents to help raise crops and livestock for the family\u2019s use,\u201d says Cindy Earls, Lead Interpreter. \u201cChildren\u2019s Day helps today\u2019s kids understand how farm children lived and played in the 1850s.\u201d<\/p>\n<h4>Children may participate in various activities throughout the farm, including:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>10am-3pm | Journal Jottings<\/li>\n<li>10am-12pm | Spring Cleaning, \u201cSpring\u201d Pole Lathe, Shadowy Silhouettes, Toy Time<\/li>\n<li>11:30am-12pm | Group Games<\/li>\n<li>1-3pm | Spring Planting, Gardening, Spring Plow Power, Playful Pinwheels, Toy Time<\/li>\n<li>2:30-3pm | Group Games<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Homeplace is located in the Tennessee portion of Land Between the Lakes. Activities are recommended for ages 5 &#8211; 12.
