The largest increases occurred in administrative\/support\/waste services, local government, and state government.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Business-Survey-Chart-March-2017.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-380391\" title=\"Business Survey Chart-March 2017\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Business-Survey-Chart-March-2017-480x160.jpg\" alt=\"Business Survey Chart-March 2017\" height=\"160\" width=\"480\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re bringing a great number of job opportunities to the state, helping us achieve our main objective of putting the people of Tennessee to work. This month\u2019s rate shows the hard work of several state agencies is paying off,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Nonfarm employment increased over the year with 63,500 jobs. The division reports metrics and contextual information as it relates to employment, income, and population in Tennessee.
