But that doesn\u2019t mean you can play a game with your safety or the safety of others,\u201d said Amy Stracke, Managing Director, Traffic Safety Advocacy for AAA \u2013 The Auto Club Group and Executive Director of the ACG Traffic Safety Foundation. \u201cIf you\u2019re going to be out drinking, please plan ahead to make sure you and your loved ones get home safely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Tow-to-Go.jpg\"  rel=\"attachment wp-att-296046\" class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-296046\" title=\"Tow to Go\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Tow-to-Go-480x296.jpg\" alt=\"Tow to Go\" width=\"480\" height=\"296\" \/><\/a><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>For Super Bowl party hosts, AAA offers the following tips<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Encourage carpooling with a Designated Driver or have a Designated Driver available to drive guests home as needed<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t force alcoholic beverages on your guests or over-serve them<\/li>\n<li>Serve protein-rich, starchy foods throughout the evening<\/li>\n<li>Have plenty of non-alcoholic beverages available<\/li>\n<li>If you are concerned for someone\u2019s safety and they don\u2019t have a Designated Driver, call them a cab, have them stay overnight, or call Tow to Go<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For those with no other option, Tow to Go will be there to provide a safe way home. Whether you are a AAA member or not, you can call for a Tow to Go ride anytime this weekend starting Friday. AAA will then safely transport you and your vehicle home or somewhere safe within 10 miles.<\/p>\n<p>Tow to Go recently won a Pyramid Award for Social Responsibility from the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI). The Auto Club Traffic Safety Foundation and Geiger Promotional Products were presented the award on January 12th at the PPAI Expo in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>Since its inception in 1998, Tow to Go has safely removed more than 24,000 impaired drivers from roads across the Southeast. The service is designed to be a safety net for motorists who did not plan ahead when drinking away from home. It is offered based on the availability of AAA drivers and tow trucks during times of high call volume.
