Under the law, the report must include data on the performance of each program\u2019s completers in the following areas: placement and retention rates, Praxis II pass rates, and teacher effect data based on the Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System (TVAAS).<\/p>\n<p>The 2015 report contains a statewide profile as well as profiles for each teacher preparation provider.<\/p>\n<p>Strong teacher preparation is a key part of Tennessee\u2019s efforts to ensure an effective teacher in every classroom across the state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nashville, TN &#8211; The Tennessee State Board of Education released The 2015 Report Card on the Effectiveness of Teacher Training Programs in Tennessee.
