The annual event will be held in the Renaissance Nashville Hotel in downtown Nashville.<!--more-->Since its inception, SFMO and Tennessee fire service partners have distributed more than 81,000 smoke alarms for free across Tennessee in high-risk areas. Figures have recently confirmed the 101st saved life.<\/p>\n<p>The installation program along with fire prevention education, fewer fires and other factors helped play a role in reducing Tennessee\u2019s fire mortality rate in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy comparing where \u2018Get Alarmed\u2019 smoke alarms were installed against fire incident reports, we can track the program\u2019s success and effectiveness,\u201d said Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance Deputy Commissioner Gary West. \u201c\u2019Get Alarmed Tennessee\u2019 perfectly fits our mission to reduce fire deaths.
