Event admission is $5.00 per person; ages 4 and under are free. Visiting Entomologist, Ric Bessin, will introduce critters such as a tarantula, giant millipede, walking stick bug, and more.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cool Critters of the World<\/strong> with the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nhecm.com\" >Natural History Educational Company of the Midsouth<\/a> at 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm. Meet a fruit bat, Gila monster, Eurasian eagle, and a few other surprise critters, and discover the cool ways these awesome animals survive and how the public can help protect them in the wild.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Beautiful Birds: Tropical &amp; Exotic<\/strong> from Nashville Zoo\u2019s <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nashvillezoo.org\/community-outreach#wow\" >Wildlife on Wheels<\/a>. Alison Rihs will present a live exotic tropical birds program at 12:00pm. See these beautiful birds up-close, discover more about their lives in their native habitats, and find out what challenges they face.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Radical Reptiles<\/strong> from the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kyreptilezoo.org\/\" >Kentucky Reptile Zoo<\/a> at 2:00pm. Meet a variety of reptiles from around the globe and explore the diversity of the reptilian world. Learn what makes each animal unique, how it survives in its environment, and the important role it plays in nature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional guests include, live reptiles and amphibians from <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/meldi.snre.umich.edu\/node\/24697\" >Murray State\u2019s Herpetological Society<\/a>, aquatic animals from <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.murraystate.edu\/qacd\/cos\/hbs\/hbs.htm\" >Murray State\u2019s Hancock Biological Station<\/a>, and more!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf your children like animals, they\u2019ll love Cool Critters Day,\u201d said Nature Station naturalist, Aviva Yasgur. \u201cThanks to some great sponsors we will be offering two new exciting programs, Tropical Birds and Radical Reptiles.
