Tennessee Department of Health reports 4,606 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, December 23rd, 2020

Tennessee Department of HealthNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 481,706 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus as of Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020. That is an increase of 4,606 cases from Tuesday’s 477,100. There have been 5,612 (+83) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.

There have been   E I G H T E E N    new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Henry County. The total is at 2,197. There has been thirty four (+1) deaths in Henry County due to the virus. E I G H T   new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Stewart County. The total of cases in Stewart County is 813. There has been nineteen deaths in Stewart County due to the virus.

N I N T Y   F I V E   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Robertson County. The total is at 6,012. There have been seventy one deaths in Robertson County due to the virus. There have been    F I F T Y   T H R E E   new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Cheatham County. The total is at 2,609. There has been twenty one deaths in Cheatham County due to the virus.

There have been   S I X Y   T H R E E   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Dickson County. The total in Dickson County is at 4,327. There has been fifty seven (+4) deaths in Dickson County because of the virus.

S E V E N   new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Houston County. The total in Houston County is 762. There has been twenty one deaths in Houston County due to the virus. E I G H T   new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Benton County. The total is at 1,118. There has been twenty eight (+2) deaths in Benton County due to the virus.

There have been   T W E L V E   new case of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Humphreys County. The total is at 1,093. There has been eleven deaths in Humphreys County due to the virus.

T W E N T Y   T W O   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Carroll County. The total in Carroll County is 2,251. There have been forty seven deaths in Carroll County due to the virus.

There have been   O N E    H U N D R E D    T H I R T Y   T W O   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Montgomery County. The total is at 10,537. Fourteen of the new cases reported today were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There has been 115 (+3) deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus.

No news cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Christian County Kentucky. The total is at 3,896. There have been forty nine deaths in Christian County Kentucky due to the virus.

Nashville-Davidson County now has 57,330 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of 796 cases from Tuesday’s 56,534. There have been 529 (+4) deaths in Davidson County due to the virus.

According to John Hopkins University there are now a total of 18,381,991 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus in the United States. That is an increase of 191,218 cases in 24 hours from Tuesday’s 18,190,773. There have now been 325,097 deaths in the United States connected to COVID-19 Coronavirus. This is an increase of 2,889 deaths from Tuesday’s 322,208.

COVID-19 Symptoms

Most patients with confirmed COVID-19 Coronavirus infection have mild respiratory illness with fever, cough and shortness of breath. A smaller number of patients have severe symptoms requiring hospitalization.
