Tennessee Department of Health reports 2,336 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, December 6th, 2020

Tennessee Department of HealthNashville, TN – On Sunday, December 6th, 2020, the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 366,333 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of 2,336 cases from Saturday’s 363,997. There have been 4,491 (+29) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.

E I G H T   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Henry County. The total is at 1,681. There has been twenty three (+1) deaths in Henry County due to the virus. There has been one new case of COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Stewart County. The total of cases in Stewart County is 640. There has been eighteen deaths in Stewart County due to the virus.

There have been   T W E N T Y   F O U R   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Robertson County. The total is at 4,188. There have been fifty seven deaths in Robertson County due to the virus. FIVE new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Cheatham County. The total is at 1,747. There has been seventeen deaths in Cheatham County due to the virus.

T H I R T Y   E I G H T   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Dickson County. The total in Dickson County is at 3,136. There has been thirty nine deaths in Dickson County because of the virus.

There has been one new case of COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Houston County. The total in Houston County is 609. There has been twenty one deaths in Houston County due to the virus. N I N T E E N    new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Benton County. The total is at 909. There has been sixteen deaths in Benton County due to the virus.

S E V E N    new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Humphreys County. The total is at 793. There has been nine deaths in Humphreys County due to the virus.

There have been   T H I R T Y   N I N E   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Carroll County. The total in Carroll County is 1,938. There have been thirty six deaths in Carroll County due to the virus.

T H I R T Y   F I V E   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Montgomery County. The total is at 7,353. Three of the new cases reported today were in the age group of 5-18 year olds. There has been eighty seven deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus.

There have been   T W E N T Y   E I G H T    news cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Christian County Kentucky. The total is at 3,218. There have been forty deaths in Christian County Kentucky due to the virus.

Nashville-Davidson County now has 45,923 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus. That is an increase of 190 cases from Saturday’s 45,733. There have been 438 (+3) deaths in Davidson County due to the virus.

According to John Hopkins University there are now a total of 14,669,402 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus in the United States. That is an increase of 420,297 cases in 24 hours from Saturday’s 14,249,105. There have now been 281,854 deaths in the United States connected to COVID-19 Coronavirus. This is an increase of 4,161 deaths from Saturday’s 277,693.

COVID-19 Symptoms

Most patients with confirmed COVID-19 Coronavirus infection have mild respiratory illness with fever, cough and shortness of breath. A smaller number of patients have severe symptoms requiring hospitalization.
