The Center is an after-school enrichment program located in where members can come for recreation, education, arts and leadership activities.

Nashville, TN – Governor McWherter was our greatest governor during my lifetime, and I believe he was our greatest governor during Tennessee’s lifetime.
Governor McWherter led Tennessee to set records in the economy, job growth, education, building roads, criminal justice, healthcare, lowering taxes and debt.

Fun Ways for Kids to Learn during Summer Vacation

According to research by Harris Cooper of Duke University, the average student loses at least a month’s worth of learning over the summer. Math skills are supposed to take a greater hit than other subjects. What can you do to help your child avoid the slippery slope?

Creating legacy one day at a time

I celebrated my 70th birthday in Nashville at the Melting Pot Restaurant, with a fine dinner and festive atmosphere for this special occasion. Though born in the Missouri Ozarks, near Fort Leonard Wood, I am now and plan to remain a Tennessee resident and productive citizen in our community. At my age, I find it this to be an enriching place to live out my remaining 15-20 years.
